Terms of Service
Last updated: June 30, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using SnapScope ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SnapScope is a property repair management platform for creating repair job scopes, finding contractors, collecting bids, and managing communications. The Service uses AI to generate scope documents and cost estimates — these are informational only and do not constitute professional engineering or contractor advice.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access.
4. SMS Messaging
SnapScope lets you initiate bid requests to contractors. SnapScope is the sender of the resulting text messages and sends automated SMS only to contractors who have opted in (via the bid-page consent box or by texting START). By using this feature:
- You represent that you have a legitimate business reason to request a bid from the recipient.
- You agree not to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or harassing content.
- For contractors who have not opted in, you may reach them by email or by texting them yourself from your own device, rather than through SnapScope's automated SMS.
- You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and will honor opt-out requests immediately.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with Service operations.
- Misrepresent yourself or your properties.
- Use AI-generated content to deceive contractors or third parties.
6. AI-Generated Content
Scope documents, cost estimates, and other AI-generated content are provided for informational purposes only. SnapScope does not guarantee accuracy. Always verify estimates with licensed professionals before making financial decisions.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapScope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages from contractor disputes, inaccurate estimates, or failed communications.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting support@snapscope.us.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
